Barre Fit is an energizing and dynamic workout that blends the grace of ballet, the precision of Pilates, and the power of strength and bodyweight training into one invigorating class. This high-intensity interval format keeps your heart pumping while sculpting and toning muscles in a fun and effective way with the use of small props. With a focus on proper alignment, flexibility, and core strength, Barre Fit challenges participants of all fitness levels to improve balance, endurance, and overall strength. Whether you’re working through targeted moves at the barre or on the mat, every class is designed to push your limits and boost your fitness. Although the class draws a lot from dance principles, there is no previous dance experience necessary, and the class is accessible to all levels.
Pilates Fit is our unique dynamic fitness class that combines traditional mat Pilates with low-impact, high-intensity interval training (HIIT). This unique blend targets core strength, flexibility, and posture through controlled Pilates exercises, followed by heart-pumping intervals that boost cardiovascular fitness and endurance. The low-impact intervals are gentle on the joints yet challenging for the body, promoting toning, balance, and stamina. Ideal for those looking for a full-body workout, Pilates Fit offers a perfect mix of strength, conditioning, and mindful movement with added intensity and variety.
Dance Fit is our own unique fusion of dance cardio, funky choreography and strength training, designed to get your heart pumping while providing a full-body workout. Set to upbeat music, the class features various choreographed routines that will challenge your coordination as you learn new steps and flow through energetic sequences. Between the dance routines, we incorporate strength training exercises to target different muscle groups, ensuring a balanced and effective workout. It’s a fun, high-energy experience full of laughter, movement, and rhythm that will leave you feeling empowered and energized! We like to call it our “Mid-Week Dance Party!”
Pilates is a mindful, strengthening practice that emphasizes core stability, flexibility, and controlled movement. In our mat Pilates classes, we incorporate small equipment—such as resistance bands, Pilates rings, and small balls—to add variety and challenge. These tools help deepen muscle activation and support improved posture. Our classes are suitable for all fitness levels, with modifications provided to ensure everyone can move safely and effectively. If you’re new to Pilates or prefer a more personalised approach, you’re welcome to book a private session for an individualised introduction to the practice.
The Ballet class at Just Move Studio is a welcoming and inclusive space for dancers of all levels to explore the beauty and artistry of ballet. Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or a beginner, this class offers a supportive environment where you can enjoy graceful movement and fluidity. While the class is open to everyone, we do recommend booking a private session or having a chat with us beforehand if you’re completely new to ballet, so we can offer guidance and ensure you feel confident in your first class. This is a chance to immerse yourself in the joy and fun of ballet, with no pressure – just pure enjoyment and personal growth at your own pace.
The Contemporary Dance class at Just Move Studio is the perfect opportunity to truly dance, learn choreography, and enhance your dance skills in a creative and supportive environment. In this class, you’ll dive into dynamic movement and explore various contemporary dance techniques, including floorwork, extensions, and flexibility training. The focus is on refining your technique while building strength and fluidity in your movements. Whether you’re looking to improve your dance vocabulary or simply enjoy the art of expression through movement, this class offers a chance to grow as a dancer, learn new choreography, and challenge yourself with every session.
Mom & Baby Pilates offers a safe, welcoming space for new moms to reconnect with their bodies, recover post-birth, and bond with their babies in a supportive, relaxed environment. Tailored for moms with babies up to 1 year old, this class provides an opportunity to engage in gentle Pilates exercises that promote strength, flexibility, and overall wellness. You can participate with your baby, incorporating them into some movements, or simply keep them nearby on a blanket while you focus on your practice. It’s a wonderful chance to socialize with other moms, share experiences, and prioritize self-care in a nurturing, no-pressure atmosphere. If you require more specific assistance or training post-birth, feel free to book a private session with us!
