Terms & Conditions of Class Attendance

  1. Please note that ALL CLASSES are strictly by booking only, on a first come, first served basis. It is essential that you book your spot prior to each class so that the instructor knows to expect you. We have limited space and equipment in the studio and our classes are kept small in order to give attention to everyone present so that you get the best out of each class.
  2. There is a strict 12-hour cancellation policy for all classes (group classes, privates and semi-privates). If you do not cancel a class at least 12 hours in advance, you will be charged for the class or it will be deducted from your class package. Please make sure you cancel your booking on the Bookamat app (Please note that you need to log in to the Bookamat app to do this, you cannot cancel classes via the website)
  3. When purchasing a class package, it is essential that you FIRST select your package option on Bookamat prior to making payment – this puts your package/class in your Bookamat “Basket”. Once you have done this, follow the prompts via Bookamat to make payment either via EFT, Yoco or Snapscan. N.B. Please send proof of payment to [email protected] so that your booking may be confirmed and credits loaded. If proof of payment is not received or if nothing has been selected on Bookamat, then credits will not be loaded.
  4. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before the start of each class. It is disruptive and distracting when people arrive late. It is also important to be on time to ensure you warm up your body sufficiently for the class – missing this crucial part of the class does increase your risk of injury.
  5. Please notify the instructor of any medical considerations including past and present injuries, pregnancy or medication that might require exercise modifications before the start of class.
  6. Please place all your belongings in the shelves provided at the back of the studio.
  7. Please bring your own mat, sweat towel and water bottle to classes. We do have water on sale at the front desk.
  8. Please do not leave the studio until the class has ended. If you absolutely need to go to the bathroom, leave between exercises as quietly and with as little disruption as possible.
  9. No mobile phones are to be used during class. Please ensure your phone is on silent mode. It is very distracting when cellphones ring or notifications come through during class.
  10. Dress code: Please wear comfortable activewear that makes it easy for the instructor to see your alignment. Please also ensure that hair is up and out of the face for all classes. For Dance Fit, you will need to wear comfortable trainers. For Ballet, please wear Ballet shoes (or socks if it is your first class). The best place to go for Ballet shoes is Ballet World in Rondebosch. All other classes are done bare feet or in socks.
  11. There are no classes on Public Holidays.
  12. Please refer to “Bookamat” for any changes to the schedule.
  13. Under no circumstances will refunds or extensions on any class packages be given. Please understand that if you purchase a class package, you assume any and all risk of illness, injury or anything else that may prevent you from attending classes.  There are lots of options which provide flexibility for class attendance, so if you know you are going away, then rather purchase a “Casual” package for that time.
  14. Unattended classes from packages may not be carried over to a new month, however, you may shift classes from week to week within the same month (you have a certain number of credits to use within the month, if you miss a week you can always do an extra class the following week). Please check the expiry date of your package on the Bookamat app.
  15. Please always show respect to the instructor and others in the class.

  17. Please note that prices apply to our weekly schedule. Prices may differ for special classes, events or workshops.
  18. CONTACTING THE STUDIO: Please note that instructors are often busy with clients/teaching throughout the day and so you may not receive an immediate response to emails or messages. Please allow 24 hours for email responses. If you are making contact via Whatsapp, we will respond as soon as we can within working hours (Weekdays 8am – 5pm).
